- Step 1 - Create a New Process Model
- Step 2 - Select Data Space
- Step 3 - Create an Array Data Item
- Step 4 - Create a Linked Form
- Step 5 - Assign Task Performer, Deploy and Execute
- Step 6 - Open "Registration" Task and Enter Sample Data
Now, select the "Events" data space that you created in the previous lesson for the current process model:
Click on the "Data" tab to display the "Data Panel". Then click the "Add" button to create the following new process data item.
Be sure to check the "Array?" option.
Context-click (Right-click) on the "Registration" user task in the diagram window and select the "Create Linked Form" option. Create a form called "Registration Form".
Now, drag-and-drop the "Race" array data item from the "Process" window onto the new form window:
A new "Table" form control will be created. Grab the lower-right corner and stretch it down and to the right so that it looks like this:
Double-click on the "Table" object to invoke the "Bind Table Control To Process Data" dialog.
Then select "First Name", "Last Name", "Date of Birth", "Address", "City", "State" and "Zip Code" and move them to the "Selected Members" listbox as shown below. Then click the "OK" button.
Now - just as you done in previous lessons - assign the "ProcessStarter" performer to the "Registration" task.
Now, deploy the new process, login to the BPM Portal and execute the new process.
Now, click on the "Assigned Tasks" tab of the "Task" window. Then double-click on the "Registration" task to display the form.
Now, click "Add" button to display a dynamically generated dialog window that allows you to enter data into the table.
